At the ripe age of 23, Benny B has circled the globe more times than most people would in 3 life times. Always on the go, this North Carolina native made a huge impact on the WQS tour in 2002 but just missed out on making the 2003 WCT by the smallest margin. With more time comes more experience strength and confidence. Ben is destined to make the big time. In the mean while he fills his time shooting photos for the mags and his sponsors, searching the globe for the best surf, and looking for the next Reef girl.

Here's what Strider has to say about Ben:

Benny B., the shinning star of North Carolina. Quite but deadly is how his competion explains his, walking with pride but humble. If you saw him on the beach you would have know idea he was a WCT threat. Benny is a well-mannered young man with a great family background who have a successful surf shop in his hometown.

As time goes on he has become his own man and shown he can handle the big waves as well as tear into the little stuff. Benny has a dream of being a world champion and every year these dream gets realer and realer as he matures his surfing and hightens his confidence.
